How Halo Works: Warm-Air Drying Explained
A warm-air finish for your shower routine
Halo by Waykind uses upward airflow to help dry moisture left on your skin after showering. Blot away the drips first, then use the step-on platform for a hands-free drying finish.
What keeps skin damp after a shower?
Water left on the skin must be absorbed or evaporate before you feel dry. A towel absorbs water through contact. Air drying works through evaporation: liquid water changes into water vapor and moves into the surrounding air.
The mechanism: moving air, not towel friction
Moving air carries humid air away from the skin, supporting evaporation. Warmth can also support evaporation. Halo directs warm airflow upward from its platform, offering a different way to finish drying without repeatedly rubbing with a towel.
This is an explanation of the drying principle, not a laboratory claim about Halo's speed or a medical benefit. Actual drying depends on how much water remains, room conditions, positioning and the areas being dried.
Why the direction of airflow matters
Halo's airflow starts near your feet and legs. These areas receive airflow first. For upper-body coverage, turn slowly and lift your arms as described in the product instructions. Do not expect every area to dry at the same rate.
How it fits into your routine
- Read the supplied manual and check placement and electrical requirements.
- Blot excess water away before using Halo.
- Use the step-on activation and reposition only as directed in the manual.
- Step off when finished. The product listing describes automatic start and stop.
What Halo is, and what it is not
Halo is a drying appliance for a post-shower routine. It is not a treatment for skin conditions, a sterilizer or a guarantee that you will never need a towel. No specific drying time or energy saving is claimed here.
Check before you buy
Confirm the product's dimensions, weight limit, electrical requirements and water-resistance specification against the supplied documentation. Keep electrical equipment away from standing water and follow the manufacturer's safety instructions.
